Before drawing a realistic eye, you want to start by sketching just a general eye shape. It is important to know the anatomy of an eye. Each eye has a pupil, an iris, an eyelid, a tear duct, eye lashes, and most people have eyebrows. Begin by shading in areas where it is appropriate. This will involve some erasing and rubbing. Pay attention to where the light is focused in your drawing and how it reflects in your glossy eye. It is best to save eyelashes for last. To draw eyelashes, simply rub...

A female body is the most beautiful body in the world. Let's try to draw a female figure. First draw the basic shapes of the female posture. A good body is generally in 'S' shape. The curves have to be drawn properly like the legs, breast, stomach and then the face. When one feels that the body is coming in shape, darken the outlines and give some shadows. This will help in your drawing skills as well as understanding the human anatomy
Want to know all you can about the human body and its skeleton? Well, this science video tutorial series about human anatomy is all you'll need. Education is just a click away.
This medical how-to video details a robotic left aortic lymph node dissection in a patient with endometrial cancer using the Standard da Vinci system. Watch and learn how a dissection of a lymph node is performed on a patient. This surgical video is intended for medical students.
JigSpace, a company that uses 3D renderings to give instructions, showed off a fun new way to learn how things work using Apple's ARKit. The video released shows the anatomy of a range of things, including an espresso machine, an Archer Hb Plus chair, and the manual transmission of a car. Not to mention, they also used ARKit to show a 3D how-to of removing an iPhone's SIM card.
Researchers have developed a new method that harnesses the power of augmented reality to detect a patient's heart rate using a Microsoft HoloLens and computer vision.
If you're studying human anatomy (or have ever visited a doctor's office), you're no doubt familiar with those plastic anatomical models with removable pieces meant to teach the different parts of the body. Before those, there were illustrated pop-up books. If you need to know the difference between the latissimus dorsi and the multifidus, you're probably better off sticking with your textbook diagrams. But if you prefer a more artful approach (and have a lot of time one your hands), this pap...

At Apple's education event in Chicago on Tuesday, augmented reality stood at the head of the class among the tech giant's new offerings for the classroom.
Numerous examples exist of doctors and surgeons using HoloLens to plan surgeries. The device has even been used to view reference images during a procedure and stream it to a remote audience. Until recently, it has not been used to augment the surgeon's view of the patient during a live surgery.
Eve Bargmann, M.D., will teach doctors in this video how to perform an examination of the patient's heart and blood vessels. As with any examination, you should start out with inspection. Start off with the jugular venous pulse, then examine the heart by palpation and auscultation with bell and diaphragm of the stethoscope, and lastly examine the blood vessels.
In this video, doctors can learn how to perform a full cardiac examination on a patient. The very first thing a doctor should do is visually inspect the patient, because there's a lot that can be gained by simply examining by eye. You'll want to carefully examine the respiratory pattern of the patient, the nature of their precordium, the anterior part of their chest over the heart. Feeling the pulse is also necessary when starting out this heart exam. To learn more, watch the full video.
This video will show doctors the process of examining the upper extremity of the body. When you exam the extremities or any joints, it's good to have a systematic approach to how you will examine each joint. Learn about the inspection of each joint, range of motion, palpation and strength testing from Eve Bargmann, M.D. When examining the upper extremity, you should start with the shoulder and work you way down to the elbow, then the wrist, and lastly, the hand.
