Eric Gjerde is a master of origami who devotes much of his energy on origami tessellations. Some of his pieces fold nearly flat, forming layers that add just a hint of depth. These pieces look beautiful when lit from behind, due to the variations in brightness and color. Other pieces utilize three dimensions more fully, with repeated structures rising out of the flat page.

Minecraftian is a beautiful and lengthy machinima made using Minecraft; dubbed the 'first full feature Minecraft Film'. The movie has everything a great movie needs: strong editing, beautiful music, and Minecraft itself.

Just when I thought I'd scoured the internet for every cool existing PVC project, this thing came up.

I don't have a cool cell phone to use apps to filter my pictures. I think that the pictures taken with apps can look really cool though. I think someone should make an app that does what I did in Photoshop to the following photos. My wife calls it blueprint style.

Ok.  My Cell Phone isn't cool like everyone else's.  I still wanted to post up some images though.  These are my attempts to make something look like it was taken using a filter app for a smart phone.  These were inspired by the picture Swell of the Frank Gehry concert hall in downtown LA that was in the post on 50 amazing shots taken using instagram.  I had some pictures of it that I thought were pretty cool.  So there's two of them here and then a another downtown artsy pictures of Los...
