Reload firearms ammunition

Wilderness education presents this five-part video series on how to reload firearms ammunition.

The first video discusses the tools and equipment needed to successfully reload firearms ammo, like a Lee O frame press, RCBS 505 scales, Lee ram prime, Lee auto prime, Lee 223 dies, Lee 223 case trimer, Lyman neck deburrer, Primer pocket cutter, RCBS flash hole deburring tool, Lee resizing lube, and don't forget the powder funnel.

The second video will show you how to reload the .223 Remington sporting cartridge. This segment includes case lubrication, resizing, depriming, trimming, deburring, flash hole deburring, primer pocket cutting and cleaning, and priming.

The third video presents cartridge reloading information on measuring out the gun powder on the scales and charging a case.

Fourth is the bullet seating tutorial.

Lastly, in the fifth video, you will learn how to crimp the neck of the .223 Remington cartridge. Now you are ready to fire it from you rifle.

Reloaded ammunition can be more accurate than factory loads but not for the reasons stated in this video. Factory loaded ammo is made to very close tolerances... it's not as sloppy as the narrator makes it sound. The increased accuracy comes from your ability to finely tune the reloads to your individual weapon by varying the bullet type, the powder charge etc. Each chamber and barrel perform differently and by experimentation with different loads you can fine the one that performs most accurately in your individual weapon.
