Clear a malfunction in a semi-automatic handgun

All you handgun enthusiasts, check out this video tutorial on how to clear a malfunction on your semi-automatic handgun.

One way is to seat the magazine properly and tap the rear of the slide to make sure the round is chambered fully. If you can use real ammunition, you probably should, because there is no better way to practice than in a real life situation, where you can feel the recoil.

The second way to clear your weapon is to make sure your magazine is seated properly and to rack the slide backwards, to fix a stovepipe.

Lastly, you'll want to drop the magazine totally out of the handgun, which may mean pulling the mag out. Then rack the slide backwards, to make sure it is clear. Next, put the mag back in.

This is the basic clearing procedures of a malfunction in a semi-auto firearm.
