I'm so glad I stumbled across these frills! I'm finishing a Christmas cake but didn't want to simply use one of the satin ribbons as a border. Now, I'll make a single-layer frill, which will hide the base neatly - and please the marzipan fans in the family as well!

I think that is just such a cool techinique
