Love it! I have been looking for a way different way to join granny squares. I hope I can perfect this one. Thanks for the patter!

looks so pretty!!! i can't wait to teach it to my students at my church group where we have been making warm up america patches and joining them with plain single crochet edges

what a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing this!

I had just finished 30 afghan blocks when I saw your tutorial. It is absolutely FANTASTIC. The finished afghan turned out beautiful - thanks to you - Thank you!!!!!

How to do #5 etc, etc??

I would imagine that you continue attaching the squares as you did from the beginning.

The afghan I'm making has instructions similar to this for the "joining", there are 9 rows of 7 squares each. How would you suggest I proceed to join them together? One row across at a time? It certainly helps to see it being demonstrated rather than reading directions!
Thanks!

I've never been a fan of granny squares because of the join. This technique might change my mind and help me to use up my stash of leftovers!! Thanks.

This is great! I always am not happy with the effect of joining some patterns. This is so new and delicate to boot! How do I find the other videos, parts 2-4?

The other three videos are linked directly under the video above (1, 2, 3, 4).

Thank you for this unique way of joining squares. I have been looking high and low for a joining technique that looked the finished piece was all one piece. Wonderful!
