Umm.

The metronome was invented by Dietrich Nikolaus Winkel in Amsterdam in 1812. So by my calculations Wolfgang Amadeus missed the boat by exactly 21 years.

Me thinks Mozart likely emulated this handy video to burn the candle from both ends, instead. Cheap. Effective. Impresses the ladies.
