Check out this instructional car repair video that demonstrates how to repair a rust seized engine. You could still tear it down and replace the rings, bearings, and hone the cylinders, although the bearings couldn't be replaced on my engine. Here's an easy trick to free a rust seized engine. Just follow these simple instructions: Remove the spark plugs and spray penetrating oil in the spark plug holes. Reinstall the spark plug holes and let the engine sit for a few days. Remove the spark plugs then slowly turn the engine over by hand. Once the engine can be turned over, reinstall the engine. And voila, you've just repaired your rust-seized engine.
