Take a look at this instructional video and learn how to workout your abs and core with v-ups. There are 3 variations on how to do V Ups. With hand slides, lie on your back hands out to your sides with your palms facing down. Bring your straightened legs and torso up to 45 degrees, sliding hands along the ground to provide some extra help. With the reach from sides variation, start as in the previous version but have your hands alongside your body with your palms facing down. Bring your straightened legs and torso up to 45 degrees while reaching your hands toward your feet at the top of the move. For the overhead hands variation, lie on your back with your legs extended and arms overhead. Then bring your straightened legs and torso up to 45 degrees while bringing your hands up to reach toward toes.
