Microsoft ASP.NET is a free technology that allows programmers to create dynamic web applications. ASP.NET can be used to create anything from small, personal websites through to large, enterprise-class web applications. All you need to get started with ASP.NET is the free .NET Framework and the free Visual Web Developer. This video provides an overview of the new Intellisense features for JavaScript in Visual Studio 2008 including core JavaScript methods, external .js files in .aspx pages, between external .js files, with core Microsoft libraries like MicrosoftAjax.js, client JavaScript behaviors, controls, and libraries, and web services. In addition, the integration of the new XML comments for JavaScript with Intellisense is demonstrated.
