Use LED throwies to add color to your neighborhood

What's an LED Throwie? Watch this video and find out how to light up your neighborhood using colorful LED's and magnets! Yet another great idea for creating neighborhood art from Graffiti Research Lab.

LED Throwies are an inexpensive way to add color to any ferromagnetic surface in your neighborhood. A Throwie consists of a lithium battery, a 10mm diffused LED and a rare-earth magnet taped together. Throw it up high and in quantity to impress your friends and city officials.

Very cool. I wonder if he added glue or something to make them stick to the walls. Magnets would only work on metallic surfaces...

Either way that's cool. I wonder how long the batteries last? LEDs don't really use much power (allot less than light bulbs, anyway...).

Do you think they could get a week or two out of those little things?
