Use a piping and welting foot on a sewing machine

This video sewing tutorial shows how to use a piping and welting foot on a sewing machine. Use the piping and welting foot for guiding and sewing in piping and welting. Set the machine for 5-thread safety stitch wide or 2-thread chain stitch. Place the first fabric right side up under the foot. Position pre-made piping on top of the fabric and under the left groove on foot. Place the second fabric right side down on top of piping and under foot. Lower needles into the fabric. Lower the foot. Sew the first few stitches by hand, using the handwheel. Continue sewing, making sure that the fabrics and piping are guided correctly.
