Use a multipurpose sewing machine foot to sew lace

Watch this video sewing tutorial and learn how to sew lace on a sewing machine with a multipurpose foot. Use a lace and braiding guide with a multipurpose foot to apply lace or braid to the underside of a fabric. Set the sewing machine for 2-needle coverhem wide. Turn under 1/4 inch hem of fabric and finger press approximately 2 inches. Place the folded edge into the guide. Snap the guide onto the multipurpose foot and slide fabric under the presser foot. Place lace on the right side of the guide and under the presser foot. Sew the first stitches by hand using the handwheel. Hold fabric in the left hand and lace in right hand while continuing to sew.
