The Double Nail knot provides a strong connection between two lines of similar or different diameters. As the name implies, you will need a nail or similar implement to help you tie it. You will need a tube of some sort to tie this particular version of the nail knot, however, its compactness, strength and versatility makes it an extremely versatile knot.
