Test and replace the M.A.P. or vacuum sensor circuit

Testing your Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor is easy. Follow the procedure involved with testing this sensor:
-Connect the universal tester to the MAP sensor
-Connect vacuum pump to MAP sensor
-Connect digital multi-meter leads
-Observe meter readings
-Apply vacuum
-Release vacuum & observe reading
-Locate and follow diagnostic chart for further testing
