Watch this car repair tutorial video that demonstrates how to test and replace your General Motor's vacuum sensors. Once you extract the codes from the vehicle and realize that troubleshooting begins with the M.A.P. sensor circuit, there is a quick two-minute test that you can perform to verify the code. Testing your Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor is easy. Follow the procedure involved with testing this sensor:
-Connect the universal tester to the MAP sensor
-Connect vacuum pump to MAP sensor
-Connect digital multi-meter leads
-Observe meter readings
-Apply vacuum
-Release vacuum & observe reading
-Locate and follow diagnostic chart for further testing

This tutorial video performs the aforementioned method to help you repair your GM vehicle's MAP sensor circuits.
