Teach your dog to enjoy taking a bath

Is your dog frustrated when you try to give her or him a bath? Well, watch this two-part video tutorial to learn how to teach your dog to enjoy taking a bath.

Use a little positive reenforcement along with the clicker to teach your dog to LOVE taking a bath, instead of hating baths. It will get to the point where your pet will jump into the bath tub as soon as you turn the shower on! This method is a hands-off approach to teaching your dog to enjoy the bathing experience.

The dogs in this video are a Jack Russell Terrier, a Chihuahua, two Labradors, and two Beagles.

Step 1. Make the Environment Positive
Step 2. Desensitize the Dog to the Sound of Running Water
Step 3. Desensitize the Dog to the Bathing Process
Step 4. Teach the Dog to Get into the Tub on Cue
Step 5. Just Add Water
Step 6. Add Soap
Step 7. Rinse Thoroughly
Step 8. Towel Dry
Step 9. Praise, Praise, Praise
