This video tutorial with professional skateboarder Ryan Smith will show you how to do a backslide and tailslide on a skateboard. Ryan Smith tells how foot placement for a backslide/tailslide of the skateboard is easier with the one foot more towards the front and your shoulders more square. Make sure you have your backside 180 down before attempting this skateboarding move. To practice, Ryan Smith recommends you go out and find a tiny curb, and just practice ollying into a backside tail stall. Once you've mastered the curb, you can move on to the rail.
This trick is hard at first, but is fairly easy after. Make sure to wear safety gear, or else you could get seriously injured.
