These medical tips are sure to help you pass your nursing exam with flying colors. Always clean around the outside of the trachea. Adjusting the trachea strap/ties. In this video they demonstrate drain, sponge, trach size, and trach cuff. Remember do not instill saline (lavage) unless absolutely necessary or ordered by health care provider or RT.
