In this online lesson you will learn how to stretch your shoulders with the hands on a wall.
Shoulder flexibility is needed for front and back handsprings and walkovers.
When you do this stretch, the rear deltoids and the latissimus are stretched out.
( backside of the shoulders and outer back muscles )
# Put your hands on a wall and extend your elbows ( at approximately chest height )
The hands should be shoulder width or less apart.
# It doesn't matter if you have your legs next to each other or if you have one leg in front.
The only thing that is important is, that your hips are parallel to the wall.
# Press down your shoulders, ( let your chest hang ) so that your arms, your trunk and your hips form a bow like illustrated above.
