Stretch neck and throat

Stretch neck and throat

In this lesson you will learn how to stretch neck and throat.
Please keep in mind that these stretches should not be done too hard.
Neck and throat stretches like the ones shown here are often applied by wrestlers.
Throat Stretch
* Stand upright and put your hands on the lower back for support. Push the chest slightly forward and the shoulder backwards.
* Bend you head back to stretch the throat, but don't relax your neck muscles totally. Don't let the weight of the head rest on the spine.
* This stretch doesn't work if you have you mouth opened.
Neck Stretch
* Stand upright and put your hands on top of your head.
* Let the weight of your arms pull down your head, but don't use the strength of your arms to stretch your neck.
