Spot and treat childrens headaches

Headaches, including migraines, can strike kids as young as toddlers. When the pain interferes with school or activities, it is time to consult a doctor. Migraine headaches in children are different that in adults. It is difficult to confirn "aura", they are not one-sided and they are shorter in duration. Stresses and certain foods can trigger headaches.

My 2 year old has been teliing me his head hurts and he holds it. I thought at first it was from crying and being upset, because itwas at night and he has had a bad cold now today,I was watching him play and he stopped to hold his head. he didn't say anything but he did this 3 times well he was playing I have given him Ibuprofen but it dosen't seem to do anything. He has been saying it for about a week now what should I do?
