Solve the Hanayama Cast Spiral metal puzzle

Solve the Hanayama Cast Spiral metal puzzle

Check out this video tutorial on how to solve the Hanayama Cast Spiral metal puzzle. These cast iron Hanayama puzzles are a great way to kill time and sharpen your mind, and this Cast Spiral puzzle will do that with a level 5 out of 6 in difficulty. See how to disassemble and reassemble it.

From Hanayama himself: At first glance, this puzzle by Kennet Walker of Rivermore, California doesn't seem unlockable. The five pieces, however, can most certainly be taken apart. Putting them back together, however, is a whole new problem in itself. My suggestion for solving this puzzle would be to not apply too much pressure. Solve it or not, the five pieces exude a kind of elegance, spiraling into a comfortable fit in the palm of your hand. The key word is 'spiral'.
