Solve a sudoku number logic puzzle

Solve a sudoku number logic puzzle

Sudoku is very simple to learn, it needs no calculations, and provides an amazing variety of logic situations. All that's required is brain power and concentration. Get the rules straight and try one out for yourself.

Rules

1. Place a number (1-9) in each blank cell.
2. Each row (nine lines from left to right), column (also nine lines from top to bottom) and 3x3 block bounded by bold line (nine blocks) contains number from 1 through 9.

History

The Sudoku Puzzle is not a Japanese original puzzle. They found it in an American puzzle magazine, where it was titled "Number Place," and they introduced it to their Japanese readers in 1984. The original title was too long until they abbreviated it down to "sudoku," "su" meaning number and "doku" meaning single.

"Sudoku" is a Nikoli registered trademark in Japan, so the other game companies call it simply "Number Place."

Everybody, from children to the aged can enjoy and pass the time with it.
