When you shut down you computer, sometimes you may have applications open that need to be closed. In result, sometimes they may freeze or not respond and you have to manually click ok on several boxes therefore wasting time and electricity. I show how to use registry editor (regedit) to fix that problem. This is a long-term solution. Obviously you could pull the plug, but that wouldn't be a good idea. Please rate and comment this video. Start/run/regedit
HKEY_USERS/.Default/Control Panel/Desktop
Double click AutoEndTasks and change the 0 to a 1
