Set up an email account with Evolution in Ubuntu Linux

If you're new to the Ubuntu Linux distribution, one of the first things you might want to do is set up an email address for an existing email account. This tutorial from ubuntuclips.org will show you how. To get started, determine your email provider's POP and SMTP mail servers (e.g., for Google's Gmail, these are pop.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com). NB: Some web-based email providers, like Gmail, require that you enable POP forwarding in your account settings.
