Set up a dual boot for Windows XP and Vista

This tutorial shows you how to set up dual boot. The easiest way to set up a dual boot is to install two hard drives in your computer. You can install a OS per hard drive or partition a hard drive and install the operating systems on different partitions.

i tried making a partition by shrinking the volume, but it didn't work. how can i get past that?
