This video will show you how to run an in-car alternator test on a Saturn S-Series car. First thing, make sure that the connections the battery are good and clean before you do any testing. Take the multimeter and switch it to DC voltage. Connect the negative multimeter lead to the negative battery terminal, and the positive to the positive to see about 12 volts. Turn on the car and see if the voltage jumps. If it stays the same or goes down, you have a bad alternator in your Saturn S-Series.
