This video tutorial will show you how to retrieve Cycorder files from your jailbroken Apple iPhone, firmware version 2.1. Here are the steps:
1 - Go to the Cydia home page (the page that pops up when you first open it).
2 - Press the Copying files to/from Device.
3 - Download Netatalk from the link it gives you.
4 - Download OpenSSH (located neath Netatalk pane).
Steps 3 and 4 enable you to view and change or edit the files from you computer when on the same network. Note: This will only work if your iPhone is on the same network as your computer. The Netatalk gives you a better description in Cydia.
5 - Open Finder on your computer and find your phone (it should be labeled as whatever its named as). Note: Not sure what shared setting you might have to have, but if it's not showing up make sure your phone is in the home screen otherwise it wont show up on your shared list because it's asleep; it's the same principle as if you were to close a computer.
6 - Click Connect as because when you first click it, it either won't connect or ask for a name and a password, which is:
Username: Mobile
Password: alpine
Note: This is Apple stock password, you might want to change it or uninstall Netatalk otherwise people can view you phone when you're on a network.
7 - Find Mobile/Media/Videos. This is where your phone's videos should be containing .mov files (QuickTime).
