my dyson spin brushes work but then stop working 2 seconds later. belt sounds like its still together, i took the brushes off and cleaned them but its still doing it.. what should i do?

My Dyson Animal D17 shuts down when you are using it. Then it won't start up for 15 mins or so. My husband and I took it apart cleaned, checked for clogs, blew out the bags section with a air hoise. None of this works.

My Dyson Animal D17 works for 15-30 seconds and then the brushes just stop. I set it upright then pull back down to vacuum and it works again for 15-30 seconds and then stops. Does that sound like yours. Seems to me this vacuum is worthless........

my Dyson has so much suction that you can't move it on our new carpet with higher pile. I wish I knew how to adjust it so it would work. We have two dogs (one sheds enough for two)and I really need it.
