Remove the extractor from the Beretta 92FS pistol

Remove the extractor from the Beretta 92FS pistol

Some gunsmiths do not recommend removing the extractor to often from the Beretta 92FS semi-automatic pistol, because the tension pin is holding it. Frequent removal and assembly of the tension pin might cause unnecessary wear and leave the extractor unreliable.

If that doesn't scare you away, then stay tuned and watch this video tutorial to see how to remove the extractor from the Beretta 92FS pistol. If you don't put to much force on the extractor when disassembling it, it should be okay. Just get out your allen wrench and pop the tension pin out of the weapon. The pin holds the extractor of the firearm. Once removed, you can clean the spot with a Q-Tip and your favorite cleaning oil or spray.
