Remove the Beretta 92FS pistol hammer and hammer strut

Remove the Beretta 92FS pistol hammer and hammer strut

Check out this video tutorial on how to remove the Beretta 92FS pistol hammer and hammer strut.

To remove the hammer from Beretta 92FS semi-automatic handgun, you need to field strip the weapon and remove the handgrips from the gun. You have to remove the mainspring prior to removing the hammer, or the hammer will fly away like a goose.

First, be sure that the mainspring has been removed, then simply take out the headed hammer pin and then the hammer itself. Next, you'll need to remove the hammer strut, which guides the removed mainspring, and comes out from the top where the hammer of your firearm resided.
