Remove oil stains from fabric

Remove oil stains from fabric. Oil and grease stains in fabric can cause ugly marks. Fortunately, they don't need to be very difficult to get out of your clothes. Oils respond well to most soaps and can often be easily lifted if you catch them in time. First, try dabbing at the stain with some liquid laundry or dish detergent.

PLEASE DO NOT SPRAY YOUR CLOTHING WITH WD-40. IT RUINED MY CLOTHING! I WENT FROM A COUPLE OF SMALL STAIN TO SEVERAL HUGE STAINS THAT WILL BE EVEN HARDER TO REMOVE IF THEY CAN REMOVED AT ALL. I AM USING AL CAPS TO EMPHASIZE THAT THIS REMEDY FOR REMOVING OIL FROM CLOTHING IS BOGUS AND DOES NOT WORK. IT WILL ONLY RUIN YOUR CLOTHING.

Sorry for the typos. I am so upset over this REMEDY I am at my wits end. Never imagined someone would post such a remedy and it'd be a blatant lie. I should have followed my own concerns that WD-40 is used for OILING wheels, hingles, etc. Please consider this BEFORE you use WD-40 on ANY fabric.
