Remove grease, blood, sauce & tea stains from clothing

Spills happen, but stains don't have to set, especially if you follow the simple instructions outlined in this video.

For grease or oil stains: blot the excess oil with a napkin; work baking soda or cornstarch into the stain to draw it out; and launder with a heavy-duty detergent.

For wine: blot the stain with club soda; the salt helps prevent permanent staining while the carbonation lifts the stain out.

Tomato sauce: Scrape off excess sauce; apply a mixture of cool water and liquid dish soap. Blot stubbern stains with white vinegar.

For coffee or tea: rinse the stain with peroxide, white vinegar or club soda.
