How to recognize a "too good to be true" timeshare deal
Travel • Travel Tips
The first piece of advice if you're purchasing a timeshare is to make sure you don't believe everything you hear, either negative or positive, about timeshares. Maybe you have a family member who tells you not to buy a timeshare because you'll never be able to trade for better locations, or a salesperson promising you if you buy you'll always be able to trade for any location. The person advising you against it might have had a timeshare in a bad location, and the salesperson might be trying to hustle you to unload a less than desirable location. Just make sure you are informed and don't just listen to what one person has to say about your purchase.
