Rack your homemade beer into a secondary fermenter

Rack your homemade beer into a secondary fermenter

After your homemade beer has finished its brewing in the first fermenter you may want to transfer to a second fermenter. The second fermenter will precipitate some of the solids in your beer and will improve the clarity of the beer. Also, if you are not going to bottle it for a while, transfering your beer to a secondary fermenter will protect your beer from getting off flavors as the yeast begins to die. The process of racking your beer into a secondary fermenter is made simple in this step by step tutorial!
