Pull a van uphill with only a rope

Pull a van uphill with only a rope

Want to know how to pull your van up a hill with just a rope? This automotive video tutorial will do just that. It will show you how to pull a van uphill with only a rope, using a simple pulley system.

This is also useful if you get stuck in the mud, or for moving any heavy object, and it obviously works on cars and truck, too. Pulling a car with a rope is even good for pranks, such as turning a car on its roof, or even bringing down a shed.

Start with a rope and tie a bowline know around the front bumper of the vehicle. Then, make a simple loop about four feet from the van in the rope. Feed the rest of the rope through the loop and go around a tree or post of some kind with the remaining bight of rope, and then finally pass it through the loop you have formed.
