Preserve a paint brush overnight

Preserve a paint brush overnight

If you are not done with your paint project and you don't want to totally clean up, wrap your brush, with paint on it, in a cellophane wrap. Make sure it is sealed tight and put in the refrigerator. You can keep it in the refrigerator 10 to 12 hours. When ready to use, remove from the frig, remove wrap and start working.

Why not put the paint brushes into sealable bags? Then you don't have to worry about sealing the cellophane wrap properly.

I assume that the video talks about paint brushes used for oil-based paint (brushes can be cleaned easily from a water-based paint). The easiest way to preserve them overnight is to simply put them into a can with water. The water does not dissolve the paint. So next morning, get the brush from the can, dry it up with a paper tissue and start painting. No need to wait until the brush warms up :o)
