Practice the Up The Ladder false cut card trick

Compared to the false cut that followed the "Push Through Riffle Shuffle" this false cut is a bit more fancy. Fancy moves by a Card Sharp are dangerous territory. If a Mechanic seems too talented with card flourishes, it will raise suspicion. I cannot stress enough that you should not seem like some kind of flourish master at a card table. Most likely your target(s) will take heed of your skills and watch your hands entirely too closely for the duration of the night.

That being said, this cut falls just below the level of a flourish. So it is a safe move to practice at a crooked game.
