Practice the Top Card Palm trick for poker dealing

Practice the Top Card Palm trick for poker dealing

Check out another video from CardSharp teaching how to palm the top card off of a deck without arousing suspicion, even if the other players are staring right at your hands.

Here is the video for how to palm the top card off of a deck even if everyone else is staring at your hands as you do it. Things to remember are that you should never act suspicious as you preform the sleight. Act as if all you are doing is straightening the deck. It's a good idea to do just that in front of a mirror a few times just to make sure your moves sync up when you do palm a card. Also, remember to avoid the "hook thumb" after you palm the card. It's also smart to practice the clean up a few times until it's quick and natural in case the need may ever arise (heaven forbid).

This sleight goes hand in hand with Mucking a Card as you must first palm and retain a card before you can muck another card.
