There's an issue with planting fruit in the hope that a tree will grow and produce more fruit. The issue is, most fruit you get in the supermarket is bred to be unable to reproduce, so if you grow a lemon tree, it will never make lemons.

Is this an issue with garlic as well? Do you have to go out and buy seeding garlic bulbs, or can you use the garlic you buy at the supermarket? This wasn't mentioned in the video.
