How to pin bone a salmon or any fish

To remove the pin bones from the fish, run the back of your knife down the fillet, starting at the head. You will feel small fish bones protruding from the fish at about half inch intervals. Gently pull out the pin bones at a 45 degree angle towards the head of the fish. Use a pair of fish bone tweezers, regular tweezers or even needle nose pliers to pin bone your fish.
