Do a science experiment to see how temperature effects air, by using a thermometer, a stove pot, a one-liter bottle with a balloon covering the top with all of the air removed.
This video science experiment will show if air tries to leave the bottle. See how to perform this nifty air and temperature science experiment. Heat water in the pot to 175 degrees and submerge the bottle in the water. You will see that air actually begins to blow the balloon up. After four minutes, the balloon will stop filling up with air. Then stick the bottle in cold water to see the air completely leave the bottle. This is a great science experiment to try at home.
