Street Skateboarding: Take It to the Streets

The guys on the prefab ramps and half-pipes make the X Games headlines, but the real frontier of the skateboarding world is out on the street, where everyday obstacles become the tools of the trade. Find out here how to turn your street into a house of shred. Watch this video tutorial to see how to perform a half cab kickflip frontside & backside on a street skateboard.

Trick: Half Cab Kickflip Frontside and Backside
Difficulty: Medium

1. Basically the same stance as a Kickflip
2. Kickflip and turn your body frontside and take the board with you
3. Ride away with style
4. Basically the same stance as the frontside, just turning backside (just a little bit harder)
5. Kickflip and turn your body backside, tucking your foot so it doesn't get caught up (take the board with you)
6. Ride away with style
