The one second doesn't take into account the HOUR it takes to steam the potatoes!

well its faster if you need a lot of them peeled like 20. i had 7 potatoes to peel and it took about an hour and a sore hand so its good if you got lots. and like max said its an hour and 11 seconds including the ten secs in the ice water and the last to take the skin off

just boil the potatos with the skins on, then put them in the fridge to cool and then peel them
