Origami a swan using hundreds of paper triangles

Origami a swan using hundreds of paper triangles

This video shows how to make an origami swan using 471 paper triangles. Your loved one will appreciate this gift because you put in a tremendous amount of effort, dedication and patience required for origami, but its easy to assemble and the only money you will spend is cost of 15 paper sheets. Good luck!

I made my first one into a hat for my mum. The process seems daunting, but once you get past the first 100 triangles, time flies!

good luck, mate!

The only fault I can find is making the triangles against a white background. It would be perfect against a darker background.

Just finished mine a couple of minutes ago. I made mine at 1/8th of a regular printer paper so it's larger than this one.
Measures about 20 cm high and 10cm wide.

A problem I ran into was that it lost the roundness in the process of attaching new triangles, but this was fixed by just pressing everything a bit harder and adding some supporting triangles which made it blend a lot better. It also made it a bit more compact.

Overall I folded triangles for about 3 days (5 hours a day) while watching tv and chatting on msn. The actuall assembly took about 2 hours since I had some mishaps.

I hope this information helps. :)
