Origami a magic rose box

This is a tutorial on how to make an origami rose that also becomes a box. Magic? Maybe. You will need three pieces of red paper and three pieces of green paper.

A reasonably good version of folding my Magic Rose Cube, but he makes both the folding and the assembly unnecessarily difficult; and this isn't the way I make them or manipulate them. (Hint: when closing, tuck all the green leaf tops in under the petals BEFORE you close the red petals down. He does the opening of the rose more or less the way I do.)But nice try on the assembly. If you want to see how I do it, get Michael LaFosse's video. And no, I won't ask for a ban, just so everybody knows that I don't make my Magic Rose Cube quite this way.
