Optimize Maya cloth simulation workflows

Optimize Maya cloth simulation workflows

In this Maya dynamics video tutorial we will learn how to apply SyFlex cloth to a polygon plane, and then render the cloth as a sub-divisional surface in Maya. This process allows the cloth simulation to go quickly since it is using low level proxy polygon objects, and the final render to come out smooth and high resolution since it adds subdivisions to the cloth AFTER simulation. Working with cloth dynamics in Maya can be a slow and painful process. Watching this tutorial will teach you methods for optimizing your dynamics and effects workflows within Maya.
