See how to open a bottle of Ramune, a Japanese soft drink. Ramune is a very popular carbonated soft drink sold in Japan, and is widely known for its distinct bottle design, often called Codd-neck bottles after the inventor, Hiram Codd.
The Ramune bottles are made of glass and sealed with a marble; the codd head is held in place by the pressure of the drinks carbon.
To open the bottle, a device to push the marble inward is provided with the bottle. The marble is pushed inside the neck of the bottle where it rattles around while drinking. What's the point of the marble? Well, who knows, but its cool looking.
