This tutorial series shows you how to model anatomy of the human body in Maya and gives specific tips on how to eventually be able to do it from memory. Part one starts with the head, part two the torso, part 3 the legs, part four the foot, part 5 the arm, part 6 attaching the parts and part 7 modeling hands.

hello :) great tutorial, but i have a noob question, lol. how does one edit the vertices or edges on both sides of the x axis without deleting half the faces and then duplicate special them -1 scale on the x axis, which is nice for some purposes, but have a whole symmetrical mesh , then edit the vertices or edges mirrored seems a lot nicer for stuff like this. or did i miss something and you did it like i described above? googled a lot, but all i find tuts telling me to delete one half of the mesh and duplicate that as instance on the other side... thanks :)
